People's Choice Voting

Get ready to cast your vote and help select the winner of the People’s Choice Award for FND In Focus 26-27! 

This is your chance to celebrate the creativity, storytelling, and impact of the videos created by our amazing participants.

How it Works

1. Finalists Only
   Only the Top 10 videos from the Judge’s Choice round advance to the People’s Choice voting.
   Note: Judges’ Choice winners are not included in public voting to give more creators the chance to shine.
   
   

2. Watch the Videos
   All 10 finalist videos are available on a private, unlisted playlist. You can watch them directly from the voting form. Comments are turned off during the voting period to keep voting fair.
   
   

3. Submit Your Vote
   You will rank your top 3 favorite videos in order of preference using the official voting form.

   • You must watch all 10 videos at least once before submitting.

   • Only one vote per person will be counted.
     
     

4. Voting Period

   • Opens: February 26, 2027
     Votes submitted before this date will not be counted.

   • Closes: March 12, 2027
     Votes submitted after the deadline will not be counted.

Rules for Fair Voting

• Voting is open to anyone in the public.

• Judges’ Choice winners are excluded from public voting.

• You can only vote once; multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

• Videos are judged solely based on public votes during this phase.

How Winners are Determined

• The video with the highest total number of votes wins 1st Place People’s Choice.

• The second- and third-highest totals receive 2nd and 3rd Place, respectively.

• Tie-breakers: If two videos tie, the judges’ rubric scores will be used to break the tie, starting with Relevance to Theme.

Recognition & Prizes

All Top 10 finalist videos receive official recognition as finalists and a digital participant badge.

• 🥇 1st Place: $75 Visa gift card, blog feature, website showcase, YouTube highlight, social media spotlight

• 🥈 2nd Place: $40 Visa gift card, website announcement, social media feature

• 🥉 3rd Place: $25 Visa gift card, website announcement, social media feature
