26-27 Theme
Flip the Script on FND
Participants are encouraged to challenge misconceptions, highlight real experiences, and reshape how people understand Functional Neurological Disorder.
Using Credible Sources
When creating your video, make sure the information you share about FND is accurate and based on trustworthy sources. Look for information from medical professionals, research institutions, and established health organizations, and avoid relying on unverified personal claims or outdated content.
A helpful way to evaluate sources is the CRAAP Test (California State University, Chico):
Currency – Is the information up to date?
Relevance – Does it relate directly to FND and your topic?
Authority – Who created the content? Are they qualified?
Accuracy – Is the information supported by evidence or research?
Purpose – Is the content meant to inform, not mislead or sell something?
