Most of the education-related inspiration I found online was specifically targeted toward the elementary classroom; however, this one elementary teacher's story from the Cricut website was just too good not to share! These are just a couple of important reminders I give students when I instruct them on how to use Design Space software. I would add that Color Sync (tab in the upper right) is important when specifically creating a design to be cut on one piece of vinyl. I always recommend a single vinyl project for a beginner's first attempt.
If this is your first time creating your own design in Cricut Design Space, try to create something with the fewest number of cuts possible. If there are a lot of intricate cuts, there is a greater chance of your design ripping.
