Book-It

Overview:

Below, you can find the requirements for Book-It. Book-It begins in October each year and runs through March. Students who meet the reading requirements will get monthly prizes.

Requirements:

This year, fourth grade students are required to read for a minimum of one hour each week in order to receive the monthly reward. Each month, the reward is different. Students will track their reading on the sheets provided at the beginning of the month (which is also available on my teacher website), and must have them turned in on the due date (excluding absences) in order to receive their prize; however, Book-It is entirely optional this year – students who do not wish to work for the prize are not required to. Even if you choose not to participate in Book-It, I hope that you continue to encourage your child(ren) to read at home to continue to develop these crucial skills and to have fun reading.

Here is a link to the Google Doc in case a student has lost their Book-It sheet over the course of the month. Be sure to fill the sheet in completely (with at least an hour of reading each week)! :)
