Drawing 101: Drawing Activity: Simple Objects
In this activity you will practice drawing by learning how to describe what you see. Remember, if you can describe what you are looking at , you can draw it!

Small squares of Construction Paper (provided by teacher)
Scissors
Marker
Your homework assignment
Complete the activity for 8 of the 10 drawings in the on side show. Take a photo and submit in google classroom or show in class.
Drawing 101: Drawing Activity: Compound Objects
Simple shapes can be added together to make a compound shapes.
Many Objects have compound shapes. An Important part of our visual perception is to be able to detect the simple shapes that make up a compound shape. Seeing the simple shape in compound objects can help you draw accurately
Your homework assignment
Place an object in front of you and follow steps 1-5 to complete your drawing. Each drawing should take no less than 10 minutes to complete. So put a timer on and don’t stop drawing until the timer goes off.
