What we read in KS4

A range of poems from writers like Percy Shelley, William Blake, William Wordsworth, Carol Ann Duffy, Simon Armitage and others from the AQA Power & Conflict anthology. Students read either R.L. Stevenson’s ‘Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde’ or ’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens, for their Nineteenth Century Text provision. All students study Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ and J.B. Priestley’s 20th Century play ‘An Inspector Calls.’
