Learning Consultant Support 9-12
Northville High School has 2 full-time Learning Consultants who work with general education students to provide tiered interventions that are identified for specific students through the schools Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process. Tiered supports may be provided through unblended seminar, push in support or a structured learning consultant class that takes the place of an elective. The learning consultants support executive functioning skills (organization, time management, work completion) as well as academic support for reading and writing based on varying student needs. Math support is offered through an elective class.
Northville High School offers a continuum of services to support the unique learning needs of our diverse student body, striving to empower all learners to reach their goals, advocate for themselves and grow as independent, responsible thinkers in preparation for life after high school. The following provides a general overview of the supports and services available for both general education students and students with special education needs.
