The Northville HS Band Program gives students the opportunity to excel at instrumental music performance.Performances are

scheduled throughout the year.Band opportunities for students include earning leadership positions,participating in various concerts, festivals, football games,the spring musical,while being a member of symphonic band, 9,10, or 11/12, jazz ensemble 1 and 2, pep band and the 300 member NHS Marching Mustang marching band.Please watch the following video to find out how our students feel

NHS Choir is a strongly established program, consistently achieving excellence at the district and state levels. Our choirs score high ratings at festivals, perform concerts three times per year and travel every year on a choir tour. In every ensemble, music appreciation through listening and performing music of different eras and cultures is the first priority. Music literacy, including sight-singing, ear-training, and harmony, is a key part of every class period.

Northville Orchestra at Little Caesars Arena - Red Wings Game

Students of any grade who play traditional orchestral string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, harp) are welcome to join Concert Orchestra, or audition for Symphony Orchestra. Both ensembles play in concerts, festivals, and travel. Students are offered many opportunities for advancement and enrichment. We have seen much success all the way up to the state level in our first three years, and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
