Privacy Policy

The North Cheshire Wind Orchestra is registered as a charity, number 110947.  When you join us you will be asked to supply:

• your name;

• your contact details;

In addition, if you are of compulsory school age we will ask you to supply:

• your date of birth;

• contact details for a parent or Guardian;

• medical conditions we need to be aware of to ensure your wellbeing whilst rehearsing or performing with the band.

We use this information to keep you informed about rehearsals, concerts, meetings (e.g. the AGM) and events organised by the band.    

The information you give us may be passed to:

• committee members; 

• our mailing list administrator;

• HMRC to reclaim Gift Aid on your subscription; 

• our safeguarding co-ordinator if you are of compulsory school age.

We will not pass your details onto any other person or organisation, including other band members, without your consent. 

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you and to ask for it to be corrected if necessary. If you wish to receive a copy of your data please contact our membership secretary.

You also have the right to request that we remove your details from our systems. If your contact details are removed whilst you are still a playing member of the band it is possible that you will miss out on important information about rehearsals and concerts.

We use Konzertmeister to inform members of important diary dates and to keep our membership list up to date. You can remove your registration in our Konzertmeister app by selecting 'Profile' from the menu, then clicking 'Delete Account'. This will remove all your personal data from the Konzertmeister system. You can find the Konzertmeister privacy policy here.

We will remove your details from our systems once you leave the band.
