Lonzo Ball

Lonzo Ball is a great basketball player. He joined the LA Lakers in 2017, the New Orleans Pelicans in 2019, and now to the Chicago bulls. Lonzo quotes,“I think everything happens for a reason. I’m where I’m supposed to be now. It feels great,” Lonzo said. AK (Artūras Karnišovas) and Marc (Eversley) did a great job. Obviously, the coaches wanted me here. My teammates, we all have great relationships.” Lonzo also says, “For me, I wanted to come to a place where I felt like I fit, a place that wanted me for me and didn’t want me to change. Chicago is the best place for me.”

The fans can agree that Lonzo ball is a great addition to the Chicago bulls. A lot of fans say that it really helps the bulls out because of his sharp shooting and elite defense. He also boosts people's confidence to have better playmaking during games. The Bulls are already beating multiple teams and they say that it was a good deal to get Lonzo on The Bulls. Lonzo’s 85 million contract for 3 years couldn’t have been better. They hope that it will take the Bulls to the next level and maybe take them to the playoffs to win their first NBA championship in 23 years!

His teammates say that it's an Awesome ride. DeMar- DeRozan called it “amazing.” He quotes, “When you’ve got a point guard of that magnitude with that IQ that’s as unselfish as he is, he makes the game easier and it makes it fun. And it becomes contagious"

Before Ball got drafted to the lakers in 2017 he was a star player on his UCLA team called the Bruins. He averaged 14.6 points per game and 7.6 assists he scored 524 points at the end of the 2017 NCAA college basketball season. and later that year got drafted to the lakers in the 1st round.

Before lonzo was discovered at ucla with his skills nobody recognized his skills in high school he was one of the best defensive players around causing 10 turnovers per game.

Did you know that Lonzo Ball shot 45% free throws in his rookie season and 41.7% last season. Even Shaq had better free throw percentages his first 2 seasons in the NBA.

We all know that Lonzo’s jersey number is 2 but do you really know why? Lonzo fell in love with the #2 because that was always his number in class growing up. He was the second person called during attendance and second in anything else that involved an alphabetic order.

Believe it or not, Lonzo Ball shot better from 3-point land his rookie season than LeBron James and Kevin Durant did during theirs. Lonzo shot 30.5% from 3 his rookie year while LeBron shot 29% and KD shot 28.8%.
