Editor's Note
This digital publication is created during a new literacy exploratory called Publishing with Purpose. Every sixth grade student rotates through this six-week course. There will be three issues each school year. Each issue will highlight submissions from two terms.I am very proud of The Trojan Times journalists.
These hard-working eleven and twelve year olds have learned so much. As with any learning journey, there is always room for growth. This is our first issue. We are, for example, still learning how best to record audio (which is even harder when wearing masks or trying to record outside due to the wind!). Please understand that you will encounter some tech issues as you enjoy this issue, but overall, I think their enthusiasm and messages shine through!
