Chick-Fil-A Visits NBJH

Chick-fil-A Deerfield opened November of 2019 right before the pandemic. We interviewed Todd, the restaurant manager; Tony, a chef; and Marci, a community representative. They said that they love the positive impact, what the brand is about, and that they all act as if they are family.

We also asked them what their favorite meal or food was. Todd said he likes the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, Tony said he likes the smokehouse sandwich, and Marci said she likes the cobb salad.

We also learned the creator of Chick-fil-A, Truett Cathy, created the famous Chick-fil-A sandwich in 1946. He had a heart for young people. When one of his workers didn't have enough money to go to college, he put up a tip jar with his name on it. The money collected in this jar went to his college fund and he ended up getting to college and graduating.
