Strand Schedules

10:00 AM: Cedar Point Gates Open. No one will be admitted to the park prior to 10:00 AM.

Prior to entering the park, check in at Innovation Faire Table, located just before park entrance.

*Each Strand has a specific schedule. Be sure to check the schedule for your strand*

Maker Showcase Strand Schedule

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Students exhibiting at report to ballroom. Set-up showcase item(s) at designated table.

11:00 AM Showcase opens

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM Showcase participants will be on hand (at designated table) to answer questions. Showcase participants may also visit other students' tables at this time.

12:30 PM Showcase concludes. Exhibitors should pack up showcase items and return them to busses/vehicles in parking lot. Cedar Point is not responsible for items left in the ballroom. Be sure to get your hand stamped for re-entry!

After the Showcase, you may also visit the Fab Labs, or participate in the Mars Rover Challenge, see schedule for each activity.

Cedar Point Reduce, Recycle, Reuse (CPR3) Design Challenge Strand Schedule

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Participants report to ballroom and gather in designated area.

11:00 AM Design Challenge Kickoff

11:30 - 12:30 PM Field Research/Brainstorm Solutions

12:30 - 1:00 Report back to ballroom to record your ideas/and prototype

1:00 PM Design Challenge at the park concludes. Students may submit final draft ideas to Cedar Point following the Innovation Faire

After the Design Challenge, you may also visit the Fab Labs, or participate in the Mars Rover Challenge, see schedule for each activity.

Mars Rover Challenge Strand Schedule

This design challenge is 30 minutes long. Each team signs up for a slot on the sheet below.

To qualify for a free ticket, Mars Rover Participants must also visit the Fab/3D Labs.

Fab Lab / 3-D Z Space Schedule

Fab-Labs / 3-D Z Space Mobile Labs are located at near Wicket Twister and will be open from 10:00 - 4:00.

Students are permitted to visit the fab labs or Z Space at any point during these times.
