How much does this event cost? Cedar Point has graciously donated, on a first come first server basis, 250 free tickets for students who participate in one of the three strands (Maker Showcase, CPR3 Design Challenge, Mars Rover Challenge).

What if the free tickets are all gone? After the first come first serve tickets are gone, the cost is $39.00 per student. Please contact Cedar Point Group Sales at 800-448-2428, option 1 to obtain additional student tickets.

How do I register for this event? Use the registration page. Complete the forms. Be sure to download the spreadsheet to be submitted as a part of your registration that includes your student roster and their registration for our events.

What is the expectation of students if they participate? Students and schools who choose to participate and utilize a free ticket are expected to choose and complete the items outlined under the student strands sections. There are three strands to choose from 1) CPR3 Design Challenge 2) Maker Showcase 3) Mars Rover Challenge. The responsibilities for each strand are outlined on the Student Strands page.

Can students participate in more than one event? Student should choose only one strand. However, students are encouraged to visit the fab labs if this is not a part of their strand already.

Do teachers and parent chaperones get in for free? For every 15 student tickets sold there is one ticket assigned to the school district.

What kind of student "Maker" creations should students display? Items should be created by students and should showcase their ability to create a product or solution. The items displayed by students will demonstrate their ability to solve a real world problem AND/OR showcase students' creativity.

Should students bring money for food and beverages? Yes.

Can students pack a lunch and bring food into the park? Students may bring food into the picnic area only.

What time should students plan to leave? Your departure time will be determined by your district. Students are free to enjoy the rides at the park once their events are complete. Cedar Point closes at 10:00 pm.

Do student tickets include Water Park admission? The free tickets do NOT include the Water Park.

Is Parking included? All school vehicles must be clearly labeled with the school district name to be eligible for free parking. Private vehicles will be subject to standard parking fees.
