Contribution Tiers

Library Steward Contributors (donations up to $1,000)

For your Library Steward Level Contribution, you will receive preview announcements from Norlands Living History Center about newly developed Discovery Pages and have special access to curated downloadable digitized copies of primary documents from the Library Archive. This, our first demonstration Discovery Page, is your preview of what we have in mind. For the campaign, we naturally started with the original Washburn Memorial Library Dedication Exercises from 1885. On this page, you can read the biographies of the speakers at the Dedication Exercises, and, we hope, experience the story surrounding the history of the Library.

Library Legacy Contributors (donations of $1,000 to $5,000)

For your Library Legacy Contribution, not only will you get the Discovery Page preview access, but Norlands will send you two books about the Washburn Founding Generation. And, your name(s) will be included on a re-dedication plaque ready to be added to the Library upon its re-dedication after full restorations are complete.

Library Dirigo Contributors (donations more than $5,000)

Dirigo Contributors receive the Discovery Page preview access & two Washburn books. In addition, Norlands will save you a VIP seat at the re-dedication ceremonies. Each Dirigo Contributor will have their name, with the name of their Washburn Founding Generation ancestor, & the re-dedication date engraved on a small plaque to be placed at the end of one of the Library’s beautifully carved shelves.
