Amalia started NOCCA as a strong student and she has spent the last 4 years growing and honing her academic craft. Amalia is consistently engaged in the classroom no matter the topic of difficulty of the subject matter. Her curiosity and critical thinking elevate class discussions to new levels. She doesn't hesitate to assume a leadership position, but she also encourages others to share their voice and perspective. As a member of an ensemble, she helps bring out the best in her peers.
