Course Related Queries

• I don't know where I am in my program.

If you aren't sure where you are in the program, you can refer to your dashboard by following this link: https://nobel.news/dashboard. 

The dashboard will show you what you have completed and will also suggest you what you need to do next. The suggestions will be on the bottom -left corner of the dashboard.

• I haven't been added to my cohort or course channels on Discord.

Please connect with the @operations team on discord when you don't find your cohort or course channels. 

• Sometime when your discord ID is not registered, you might not  be added to the needed channel.  Please fill out this form to ensure that your discord ID has been  registered: https://nobel.news/Discord-IDs-Collection. Once you do so, please tag @operations team on Discord.

• I want to change my cohort (Weekday ↔ Weekend).

If you wish to change your program from WD to WE or vice versa, please fill out this form: https://nobel-links.netlify.app/Welcome-back . Please note that you will be moved to the next cohort after this, matching the next course you will have to take in your pathway. Your next class might take up to a month to start but you will be notified on when your next class date will be. 

If the waiting time is too long, you can take some extra courses along the way by signing up for them here: https://nobel.news/monthly-specialization.

• I want to take a break and come later.

If you need a break due to some personal reasons or any reason, you can stop your classes and then come back whenever you are free. To join back, just fill out this form:  https://nobel-links.netlify.app/Welcome-back.
But we highly suggest and encourage that you don't leave a course mid-way or specially your facilitation mid-way to ensure that even your expo team or co-facilitator(s) have a seamless experience.

• I haven’t received my class link.

• If you haven't received the link to your class then:

• Please check if you have the mastery for the previous course you took or not from here: https://nobel.news/explorer-id-lookup. If you haven't please fill out the Welcome back form and you will be invited to the next cohort.

• If you did master the course and did not receive the link, please check in with the operations team on discord by tagging them in your cohort channel or #ask-a-guide channel.

• In any case, please refer to your google calendar for confirmation as well. You can watch this video and learn how to get class links from the calendar: https://nobel.news/calendar_vid. 

• I received two emails with different class times.

This might be either caused due to some technical fault if you are still in fundamentals. In that case, please check in with the operations team on discord by tagging them in your cohort channel or #ask-a-guide channel.
But if you received so for specialization courses, it is most likely because you signed up for two courses that run at the same time. In that case only join one of the course and you can choose the other course to be taken the next time it runs.

• How many classes can i miss for a course? 

We understand things happen! But to ensure that you have mastered the course you cannot miss more than 1 class - per course. If you miss more than one, you will have to re-take the course. • How can i master a course? What causes lead to not mastering a course?

To master a course please ensure these things:

• Ensure that you follow Nobel Norms. (Learn more about Course Norms)

• Stay active during course and classes.

• If you need an off day, take only one off day out of 4.

• Ensure that you give your best at the course Expo, and not miss it.

In the case that you don't meet these course norms, you will have to retake the course. But worry not! you can just fill out this form and get back into the program: https://nobel-links.netlify.app/Welcome-back.

• I missed my ALP – what should I do? / How do i signup for ALP (Advanced Leadership Practice)?

If you missed your ALP (Advanced Leadership Practice), you can sign up for your ALP facilitation by following this link: https://nobel.news/Lsh-opps.

• Please note that, before you signup for the ALP ensure that you have completed your LP (Leadership Practice), meaning you have facilitated at least once before. If you haven't completed your LP, please follow this link: https://nobel-links.netlify.app/Welcome-back.

• I got a retry – what should I do now?

• What comes after the Fundamentals?

After you are done with your fundamentals, you can:

• I cannot connect with my capstone team or How to connect with your team?

• I missed my capstone presentation – what should I do?

• If you missed your capstone presentation, then please connect with your team. If your team is able to join another expo to present again, then you and your team can present your capstone presentation in any course expo. To get invitation into a course expo, please get in touch with the global promo team and @sangamadhikari on discord. 

Guides, Cohorts & LMS

• How do I know my guide?

To know your guide, you can follow this link: https://nobel.news/calendar. This sheet has the list of Guides for each cohort. Find your cohort and you can choose between the guides for your cohort. Reach out to whoever you feel comfortable communicating with.

• How do I know my cohort?

Your cohort is always combined with the Month you join in, the day of the EduQuest (Group Interview) and the program type - either WeekDays(WD) or WeekEnds (WE). Basically,

[Month] + [Day of the month] + [Program (WE or WD)]

For example: March 15 WE cohort.

• My LMS credentials are not working.

The credentials sent to you aren't actual emails that you can log in, so you will not be able to access the One-Time-Password (OTP) that the teachable platform sends you.
Just below the Log-in button, you will see a note that says: "We will email you a code for a password-free log in. Or you can log in with a password instead." Try logging in from the link attached in the note. You should log in using your credentials. If this still doesn't work,  you can reach out to the operations team on Discord.

• My guide is not replying.

Guides are volunteers who help you in your journey in the fundamentals program. They might not always be available as they might have their school or other commitments in their personal lives. Therefore, please be patient if you don't get immediate replies. If you still don't get any responses in 24-48 hours, then try reaching out to another guide for your cohort.  

• I haven’t been assigned a guide.

Guides aren't specifically assigned anymore. Please choose a guide that you feel comfortable reaching out to. In a normal situation, guides will reach out to you first at the start of your fundamentals journey. If not, feel free to reach out to them first. They are there to help you. 

• I cannot attend my guide meeting today. What should I do?

Please let your guide know if you cannot attend by tagging them in your cohort channel or ask-a-guide channel.

EduQuest

• How do I sign up for EduQuest facilitation?

To signup for EduQuest Facilitation, please follow this link: https://nobel.news/Lead-EQ

• How do I find EduQuest meeting links?

• A separate Discord channel is created for each cohort's EduQuest. All the links to EQ rooms, Main Rooms , Post and Pre- EduQuest room links are sent on that channel. If you aren't added to that channel. Please tag @Eduquest Team in your cohort channel. 

• You can also refer to your google calendar for confirmation as well. You can watch this video and learn how to get class links from the calendar: https://nobel.news/calendar_vid. 

• Sometime when your discord ID is not registered, you might not  be added to the EduQuest channel.  Please fill out this form to ensure that your discord ID has been  registered: https://nobel.news/Discord-IDs-Collection. Once you do so, please tag @Eduquest Team on Discord.
  
  

• Do I have to facilitate EduQuest on both days?

 Facilitating on both the Main and Backup EduQuest Days are great ways to hone your facilitation skills. You aren't obligated to facilitate 2 EduQuests, but you are supposed to facilitate at least one for your fundamentals certificate. 

• For each extra facilitation, you will get facilitation credits, which will be added to your specialization and facilitation pathway credits.

• I facilitated EduQuest, but didn’t get mastery mail.

Each case for EduQuest facilitation mastery is unique. Please connect with the @Eduquest Team on Discord to know about the reasons and next steps.

• When will I be added to the EduQuest facilitation channel?

You will be added to the EduQuest facilitation channel after you have completed EduQuest Training. If you don't see yourself in an EduQuest channel, then please contact the @Eduquest Team on Discord.

• I facilitated EduQuest but still got another mail to facilitate.

Since each case is different, please tag @Eduquest Team directly in your cohort channel or #ask-a-guide channel.

• I missed EduQuest training – how do I apply again?

To join the EduQuest Training again, please fill out the form: https://nobel.news/Lead-EQ. When filling out the form in one of the questions about EQ training, choose "No" and the EQ team will invite you to the training.

• I didn’t get the invitation for EduQuest facilitation.

Each case is unique. Please connect with the @Eduquest Team on Discord to know about the reasons and next steps.

• I cannot find my co-facilitator. / How do I know my co-facilitators?

You and your co-facilitator are mentioned in the EQ channel created for the EduQuest. If you don't see the channel, please contact @Eduquest Team your cohort channel or #ask-a-guide channel.

Specializations

• How can I apply for Specialization?

• Take specialization courses: https://nobel.news/Specialization-SignUp

Please note that, to take Specialization courses, you should have completed all the fundamentals courses and should've completed the Leadership Practice facilitation.

• Explore Monthly specialization courses: https://nobel.news/monthly-specialization.

You can take the the monthly specialization at any stage of the fundamentals, even if you haven't completed your fundamentals courses and LP courses. But do note that, your fundamentals comes first. So please choose the course that doesn't conflict your fundamentals course timings.

• I have taken N-number of courses – What do I need for specialization certificate?

For you to be eligible for a specialization certificate, there are 2 criteria:

• You should've completed atleast 5 courses from one specialization pathway.

• You should've completed atleast 3 facilitation after your ALP. The courses could be any course for facilitation.

Once the you have met the requisites, you will be sent your certificate. Sometimes, there are some errors, so please contact the @internship program team on discord if you don't get your certificate in the expected time.

• I completed the pre-assignment but didn’t receive a specialization invite.

Since, each case is unique, so please contact the @internship program team on discord. But some things to consider are:

• You should submit the pre-task from a "@gmail" account else, there are chances that your pre-task might not get registered.

• Ensure that you wrote your Explorer ID correctly without "@nobelcoaching.com" at the end.

• Ensure that you wrote your OWN Explorer ID.

• Check your email inbox, and ensure that you did not miss the email updates that the team sent.

If you did so, then feel free to contact the @internship program team on discord.

Teams

• How do I join teams?

You can join teams by filling out the following form and choosing the team that you want to join: https://nobel.news/signup-for-nobel-teams.

• There might be some pre-requisites for joining a team. Since each team is independent, the requisite might differ. 

• The requisite sometimes might be mastering a specific course or completing task(s).

• Please keep in touch with the team members, or representatives via discord as well. 
  
  

• I signed up for a team but didn’t get a reply.

If you haven't received a reply from the team, then please tag the team in the discord community chat. The discord tag for the team is same as the name of the team.

• How can I apply for the guides team?

To become a member of the guides team, you will have to master the Leadership 2.0 course. Once you master the course, the team will contact you. To take the Leadership 2.0 course, please follow this link: https://nobel.news/become-guide.

Certificates & Recognition

• When will i receive my certificate?

Please review your progress through the Dashboard here: https://nobel.news/dashboard.

If everything is all good, your certificate will be sent to you soon. Certificates are usually sent out every Mondays. If there are some things incomplete, you will get the suggestion on what to do next in the bottom left part of the dashboard.

• What opportunities are available in Nobel?

The opportunites you can get in Nobel are:

• Joining the Coaching team, to eventually become a professional team.

• Join the Networking pathway and team, grow your professional Network on LinkedIn to land Jobs.

• Join the Facilitation Pathway and the backup facilitators team to sharpen your facilitation and teaching skills.

• Join the MC team to boost your event hosting skills.

• Become a Nobel Guide, to become mentors to new Nobel interns and guide them through their Nobel Journey.

• Create events in Nobel community to get Event creation and Management experience.

• Help the promo team to promote your sales and negotiaion skills.

• Are there paid opportunities in Nobel?

Yes, there are paid opportunities in Nobel. Whenever a team requires a paid team member, they are always hired from within the team. But to hired for a team, you need to develop a scalable Learner-to-Leader system in Nobel. These projects depend on the scope of the team you are working with, so please contact the team representatives of the team. 

• Are there international travel opportunities for exceptional interns?

As of right now, there are no such opportunities available directly from Nobel. But anything's possible in the future 🤞.

• How can i get a recommendation letter?

• Recommendation letters are issued by individual Nobel teams and it is not a part of the fundamentals or the specializations journey. For you to get a recommendation letter, you will have to JOIN A NOBEL TEAM, and complete the in-team-internship pathway and the team representative(s) can issue you the recommendation letter. 

• Another way to get a recommendation letter is to get to the leadership level of the facilitation pathway and complete the requirements set by the pathway guidelines.

• What is the facilitation pathway?

Facilitation Pathway is the recognition of your facilitation journey that you go through during your specializations stage. Know more about the facilitatin pathway here: https://nobel.news/facilitation-pathway-info.
