8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Work Location: Newport News Public Schools Staff Support Center, 12511 Warwick Blvd.
Students may report to various summer school and NNPS locations as determined by the supervisor
Job Description:
Assists with technical support for students and staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and other IT-related issues
Supports and assists with the Summer refresh process, including reimaging computers, Chromebooks, and iPads
Manages ticket requests for software and hardware support across the school division
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, organized, and customer-focused, with strong problem-solving skills
Special Skills Required: Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, or kneel. Must frequently lift and/or move and push/pull up to 26 pounds. Business & Information Technology and Technology & Engineering Education students are encouraged to apply.
Special Attire or Equipment Needed:
Collared shirt (provided) is required during work hours. Must follow NNPS dress code.
Compensation Information: $13.00 per hour
