Supporting the Instructional STEAM Summer Camp Program for 3rd-10th grade students:
● Assisting students in using robots as a teaching tool.
● Willingness to learn how to use and code various types of robots.
● Supporting students in learning basic block-based coding commands.
● Working alongside students to solve problems using the engineering design process.
● Taking photographs of the STEAM curriculum in action.
● Co-facilitating lessons.
● Writing and publishing a weekly STEAM Camp Newsletter.
Supporting the Division STEM Department:
● Supporting technology integration.
● Experience or interest in web design, social media, and print design to assist in branding and marketing of NNPS STEM Programs.
Management of STEAM Materials and Inventory:
● Organizing curriculum materials.
● Delivering curriculum materials to classrooms.
● Inventorying curriculum materials.
● Packing curriculum materials at the conclusion of the STEAM Camp Program.
Special Skills Required: Excellent written and oral communication skills; problem solving skills; intrinsically motivated, ability to lead while working alongside students who are both near-peer and direct peers.
Special Attire or Equipment Needed: Business Casual (Dress must be in compliance with the NNPS dress code. No jeans, shorts, tank tops, or leggings)
Compensation Information: $13.00 per hour

Candidates will report to the designated assigned supervisor and will be responsible for communicating with their assigned supervisor, teachers, curriculum developers, and STEM central office staff using email and a designated texting app such as GroupMe.
