Student-to-Student Visit

A couple student's visited us to talk about Jewish history. Many of the topics mentioned were very interesting, for example they mentioned a pill Cam the Jewish invented. They also made an app designed to help people who are blind. Many of these students were also different types of Jewish, Ashkenazim from Europe, and Mizrahi from North Africa. We were shown how they also got married, with this special cloth being placed above, they circle around it to symbolize having a family. They also mentioned what Jewish people face too, discrimination. The Jewish students told us how they faced antisemitism, hate against Jews. Mostly during world war 2 and with the Nuremberg laws that made antisemitism spread everywhere, now in modern time you see it on social media, or at public places. Most of all Jewish people are probably some of the most nice and humble people weve met.
