Just imagine, walking down going to work, and all of a sudden two normal looking cars surround you. Eight masked men come out, arrest you, and take you to the station. That is the fear ICE causes in immigrants. There are many problems with ICE with their unnecessary raids, to wasting taxpayer money, and everyday they seem more like a nuisance to society rather than doing good deeds. An example of ICE being unnecessary is instead of getting those who actually commit crimes, they deport nonviolent people.
LA County website "ECONOMIC IMPACTS OF FEDERAL IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT," states, “They have done this by removing temporary protected status and humanitarian parole designations for over 1 million people, allowing arrests at ‘sensitive locations’ such as schools or hospitals.” This just shows how they open up places where you can't arrest people to be able to arrest them. Instead of doing that they could actually go to places where there could be suspected criminals from Mexico, instead of getting normal immigrants who aren't in harm's way.
