Why are we studying this?
In this unit, students will build on their knowledge of transformations to learn about similarity and dilations amongst geometric figures. Students will also discover how similarity properties among triangles can lead us to understanding the three trigonometric ratios of sine, cosine, and tangent. Students will continue to use their algebra skills to find the value of missing variables, angle measures, and side lengths.
