• Group alumni Jonathan Tsosie won the first place in individual undergraduate division in International Student Conference of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Aeronautics (AIAA) held in Florida , January 2015. • Kevin Reed wins Space Grant Consortium Scholarship for his work on designing new microfluidic technology to diagnose malnutrition. Congratulations Kevin!

• A  new microscope facility has been established. This lab will house three Leica and Zeiss microscopes with fluorescence and high speed image capabilities. Newly acquired Hamamatsu ORCA-Flash4.0 V2 camera is now available for fast event recording.
