Concert Dress Code:
5th Grade:
Nice clothes (Think about an outfit you may wear to picture day or a wedding!)
6,7,8th Grade:
WINTER CONCERT: NMS music shirts (I will contact guardians when they are available for order) and nice bottoms/slacks/skirts
SPRING CONCERT: Nice clothes (Think about an outfit you may wear to picture day or a wedding!)
Clothes to Avoid:
NO ripped jeans, shorts, athletic wear, sweatpants, pajamas, slippers, crocs .
If students need help with concert attire/clothing or need more specific info, please let me know asap!

Stage & Risers Etiquette:
Students are expected to follow instructions taught in rehearsal about standing arrangements, entrances, exits, and how to behave while on the choral risers.
Maintain proper posture, stand tall, and be respectful to the teacher, other members of the chorus, and to the learning environment. No talking or fooling around during performances!
If students are unable to handle these expectations in rehearsals leading up to the concert, they may be removed from the concert program.
Concert Make Up Assignment:
An unexcused absence from a performance will result in a zero (no points) being given for that performance. The student will be given an alternative assignment worth 75% of the original grade to fulfill the performance requirement. Students who do not provide notification of absence well in advance will automatically receive an unexcused absence. Below is the google doc for the make up assignment.
