Best Buddies Jobs Program: Best Buddies Jobs helps adults with IDD find and maintain employment. Participants are matched with job opportunities in their communities that align with their skills, interests, and abilities. Best Buddies Jobs provides support throughout the job search process, including job coaching, workplace training, and ongoing support to both the individual and their employer. The goal is to promote inclusion in the workforce and empower individuals with IDD to achieve greater independence and financial stability. Best Buddies Transitions Program: Best Buddies Transitions is designed to assist young adults ages 14-22 with IDD as they transition from school to adult life. It provides support and resources to help them navigate this transition period successfully. This includes assistance with setting and achieving personal and professional goals, developing independent living skills, exploring post-secondary education options, and preparing for employment opportunities through programs like the Best Buddies Jobs program. The Transitions program aims to empower individuals with IDD to live fulfilling and independent lives as active members of their communities.
