Candidate Support for your Journey

The benefits of these workshops include clarifying directions, getting all your questions answered, and collaborating with others. Workshops throughout the school year are focused on Components 2, 3 and 4 which have a submission deadline of mid May. Component 1 has dedicated workshops beginning in April, the testing window for Component 1 is usually April to Mid-June.  Click here to register

The NMNBCTNework encourages candidates to obtain a Professional Learning Facilitator (PLF) to provide guidance and support for each component beyond what the Candidate Retreats offer. A PLF can work with you individually or within a small group answering questions, facilitating discussions, and giving you specific feedback on your writing for each Component. PLF support for the year is $330 per component.  Click here for more info.

One-Time Reading

Candidates can pay $60 to have a trained, affiliated PLF read through one entire component and make comments based on the level 4 rubric. Candidates can expect to get feedback within one week after sending their work. This is available from March 1st until May 3rd.
