Too add multiple students to School Messenger:
Go to Account Preferences/Contacts. Next, use the "Add Student" or "+" button to link other children at the same school with the same District Code
IMPORTANT NOTES IN UNDERSTANDING THE SAFE ARRIVAL SYSTEM
● Click on the Safe Arrival link for video instructions on using School Messenger to complete attendance.
● Use the FULL DAY attendance option, even if your child will only be absent for a partial day.
● Safe Arrival does NOT mark your child as absent for the full day, instead, at the end of each school day it will change all the “unexcused absences” to the code you have indicated (“absent due to illness, absent excused, etc.)
● School Messenger works with PowerSchool, but it is a separate reporting system. School Messenger notifications will go out each period and are then uploaded to PowerSchool which updates the student's attendance to excuse them if a parent/guardian has submitted an absence through SafeArrival School Messenger.
● You can report an absence 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
