Unit 11: Probability

Probability is the likelihood of a single outcome occurring.

Impossible - means it is sure not to happen. The outcome is not possible and cannot happen.

Possible - means there is a chance this outcome can happen. There is also a chance it will not happen. 

Certain - means this will happen. It is the only possible outcome. 

• if an outcome is possible, we can also determine if it is less likely, equally likely or more likely to happen!
