WITS and Leads
The The WITS Programs Foundation brings together schools, families and communities to create responsive conversations that help children deal with bullying and peer victimization. WITS has three components: the WITS Primary Program (Kindergarten - Grade 3) and the WITS LEADS Program (Grades 4 - 6) and le programme DIRE - WITS in French .
The WITS LEADS Program provides strategies and resources that are developmentally appropriate for older elementary aged students so that they can become WITS LEADerS. Like the WITS Program, WITS LEADS is a literature based program with over 30 dynamic activities that may be integrated throughout a variety of subject areas.
The WITS LEADS Program teaches five problem-solving strategies to help children deal with conflict and keep safe: Look and listen, Explore points of view, Act, Did it work? and Seek help. Click on the links below to find the resources to you need to get started with WITS LEADS!
