Expected Behavior:

Students should speak respectfully to all individuals (other students, all staff and visitors) at all times. Swearing, crude and/or obscene language whether spoken, written or gestured is not appropriate.

Reason:

The ability to use appropriate and tasteful language is a valuable life skill. When language is offensive and/hurtful to others it often leads to further conflict. Everyone deserves to be spoken to in a respectful non-confrontational manner.
