Assignment/Assessment Policy

Expected Behavior:

As per regulations 4.13-4.16 and 4.17-4.24 of the Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting Policy (PROG-317) of NLSchools, students are expected to submit all assignments according to the date designated by the teacher. In addition, students are expected to write assessments (tests/quizzes/exams) according to the date/time they are scheduled by the teacher.

 Reason:

The teaching staff of French Shore Academy recognize that assessment and evaluation are integral to the teaching and learning process. The primary purpose of assessment and evaluation is to support student growth and to improve upon student learning and achievement. In addition, teaching staff recognize the importance of deadlines and the value of accountability when deadlines and students’ responsibilities are not being realized.
