生平簡介 Biography

• 唐平博博士是卡內基美隆大學土木與環境工程系的副教授。他是土木基礎設施營運和土木基礎設施營運安全的人類系統工程領域的專家。唐教授的研究涉及遙感、人類系統工程和資訊建模技術，以支援有效管理生產系統、建築工地、建成設施和土木基礎設施系統所需的時空分析。他目前的研究考察了在加速建設和基礎設施運營中理解人類-網路-物理系統（H-CPS）的感測和建模方法（例如，機場運營、核電廠停機控制）。他曾多次獲得最佳論文獎，2013年獲得卡內基美隆大學土木與環境工程系的最近校友成就獎，2015年獲得國家科學基金會CAREER獎，並在2020年獲得美國土木工程師學會的丹尼爾·W·哈爾平建築獎學金獎。

• Dr. Pingbo Tang is an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He is an expert on civil infrastructure operations and human systems engineering for civil infrastructure operational safety. Prof. Tang’s research explores remote sensing, human systems engineering, and information modeling technology in support of the spatiotemporal analyses needed for effective management of production systems, construction sites, constructed facilities, and civil infrastructure systems. His ongoing studies have examined sensing and modeling methods for comprehending the Human-Cyber-Physical-Systems (H-CPS) in accelerated construction and infrastructure operations (e.g., airport operations, nuclear plant outage control). He won best paper awards at multiple conferences, the 2013 Recent Alumnus Achievement Award of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon University, the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2015, and the Daniel W. Halpin Award for Scholarship in Construction from the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2020.

生平簡介 Biography

• 歷任中華顧問、台灣世曦公司，負責及參與多項重大工程建設，工程實務經驗34年

Formerly served at CECI Engineering Consultants, Inc. Taiwan and Sinotech Engineering Consultants, Ltd., with 34 years of practical experience in major infrastructure and engineering projects.

• 積極參與學協會團體之會務推動，如中國工程師學會，土木水利工程學會、結構工程學會、台灣混凝土學會理事等，熱心服務工程界

Actively involved in promoting the activities of professional engineering associations, such as the Chinese Institute of Engineers, the Chinese Society of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, the Taiwan Society for Structural Engineering, and serving as a board member of the Taiwan Concrete Institute, demonstrating a strong commitment to the engineering community.

• 擔任教育部國家教育研究院『土木工程名詞審譯會』審議委員及結構地震組之召集人，將自身累積之專業學識回饋國家社會

Serves as a review committee member and convener of the Structural and Seismic Terminology Subcommittee for the “Civil Engineering Terminology Review Committee” of the National Academy for Educational Research, Ministry of Education, contributing accumulated expertise and knowledge back to society.
