Philosophy
The philosophy of our program, founded on the ideals of the Renzulli Schoolwide Enrichment Model, is that all children have a potential for learning. Ringwood’s Schoolwide Enrichment Program will cultivate this potential so that all children reach success in their school experiences. An appropriate education for all students is the foundation on which this belief is established.
The Schoolwide Enrichment Model applies the evidence-based practices of gifted education pedagogy and tiered programming of supports to total school improvement. This provides learning experiences and higher educational standards for all children by providing a range of enrichment experiences for all students, and by delivering advanced educational opportunities for students in need based on their strengths and interests.
