Computer Numerical Controlled Machining Lab

In this lab we started with learning the basic backgrounds of CNC machining, from the purpose and function of the components of the machine, to learning the functions of the codes used by the machine to interpret, as well as learning how to define the axis with respect to the part being machined.

The next step in this experiment was to learn the different functions of the codes. It was determined that certain lines of codes determined when the tool would switch tools, which direction to move on its defined coordinate plane, and how deep the tool would drill into the work piece.
