A brief history

The first edition of Beyond Glass Barriers Conference was conducted in 2019 and has been a flagship event for IEEE WiE Malabar Sub Section ever since.

The sessions are planned on Dec 28 - Dec 29, 2021 from 5 pm to 7 pm thru Webex platform.

This year BGB is planned in a very different way envisioning maximum participation from the women to share their experiences during COVID season.

One highlight of this year's event will be the announcement of IEEE MSS - ROSE(Recognition for Outstanding Services in Engineering) award. This award honors women who have made outstanding contributions in Engineering in Malabar Region.

Another highlight of this year will be the Beyond Glass Barriers (BGB) Paper Presentation Contest, which is being conducted as a part of BGB 2021. This contest is being conducted to brainstorm and collect intelligence on how women engineering professionals and students have faced the challenges during the COVID times.

Day 2

Presentation of papers received for BGB Paper Presentation Contest and Declaration of Winners
Panel Presentation " Challenges and survival techniques during COVID and what beyond COVID"
