School-Issued ID
To enter the school for this event, you will need to bring your school-issued ID. If you do not have a school-issued ID, please bring your driver's license and be prepared for a brief wait while school staff enters you into their security system. Greeters will meet you at the school's front entrance and direct you to either the check-in table (school-issued ID) or the school office (driver's license).
Electronic Devices
We encourage all participants to bring their electronic devices to easily access session materials. As you plan your day, review session descriptions for specific device requirements. Some sessions, like those hosted by Purdue and ETSU, require a laptop instead of an iPad or other device.
Food & Drink
Coffee, bottled water, and snack crackers will be available throughout the day. Lunch is on your own, so either bring a packed lunch or plan to visit one of Greeneville's downtown lunch spots. Several options are within walking distance.

Checking in
You may check in to this event any time between 8:30-9:00 a.m.
You will pick up your name tag and participant packet at the check-in table in the main lobby near the school's main entrance (yellow chevron on the above map), and everyone's day will begin in the Lecture Hall.
Planning Your Day
Review the session schedule, session descriptions, and presenter biographies before the conference. We recommend having a few options in mind for each session block since sessions will be first come/first served with a maximum of 20-25 participants depending on the session. If a session has reached maximum capacity, the presenter will display a sign on the door. Some sessions will repeat throughout the day, so if you miss it during one block, chances are it will be offered again later in the day.
Locating Your Sessions
Most sessions will take place at GHS, but a few will be hosted at Walters State (2-3 minute walk); exact locations can be found in the session descriptions. If you plan to attend a morning session at Walters State, you will be meeting as a group in the GHS lobby and walking over together.
Participation and TASL Certificates
At the end of the day, you will be given a feedback survey link and QR code. This survey must be completed to receive credit for the day (6 hours). If you're a leader and still need TASL credit for the 2022-2023 cycle, you may earn a 6-hour TASL certificate instead. Please indicate whether you will need a participation certificate or a TASL certificate when you complete the feedback survey.
Certificates will be sent to the email you list on the feedback survey, so make sure you've entered it correctly.
