Monster Mash-Up with FFOE
Students used FLUENCY, FLEXIBILITY, and ORIGINALITY to create a silly monster. They then used ELABORATION to write detailed directions for someone else to recreate their monster.
Students have been learning to use the SCAMPER strategy to improve their creative thinking. They then SCAMPER-ed a new animal species by COMBINING two animals and SUBSTITUTING their body parts in order for them to ADAPT to a new habitat.
Students took some time to reflect on how they think and learn by writing a poem and creating a Chatterpix presentation with their self-portait.
