The annual pre-visit is different this school year!
The PreVisit is designed for teachers to become aware of the teaching and learning expectations for their grade level during a field experience. Please refer to the following chart for details for each grade level and the dates available.
Why the changes?
We listened to teacher feedback concerning the PreVisit, and made the adjustments based on what changes we created in OLC experiences.
The 90 minute training at OLC is required for any new teachers to the grade level or to the District.
Grades 3rd and 4th are new experiences, so each team needs two teachers to attend the 90 minute training.
Anyone is welcome to attend the 90 minute training at the OLC.
Chaperones are requested and needed with each grade level. Chaperones attend an orientation with the OLC the morning of their campus OLC experience.
Register for the PreVisit and enroll in the Canvas course at least 4 weeks before your reserved campus day.
This it to give you enough information to learn, plan and communicate to students, chaperones and campus leaders for the big day!
Register AFTER you have a confirmed OLC reservation.
This will be an email and Outlook calendar invite from Amy Hollenshead and the OLC.
If you are a middle school or high school team...
We can setup a Zoom after teachers have completed the OLC Canvas course.
