Students will be studying several TEKs (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) for kindergarten with our lady beetle unit. Students will investigate animal's characteristics such as color, size and body covering ( TEK K.10A) as well as identifying basic parts of animals (TEK K.10B). Through this website, students will also look at the basic needs of living things, such as food, water, shelter and air (TEK K.9B). Outdoor Amy will be sharing her Ladybug Journal with us so students can follow along. Please join us in the incredible life cycle of a Lady Beetle (ladybug)!
