You have made it to the last week of October! Hip- Hip? Hooray! What a year this month has been. Your dedication and hard work throughout this month with planning, teaching, hosting events, parent conferences is astounding. Your work is admirable, noble, and valued. We are festively ending the month of October with Red Ribbon Week, Navy Out Walk, big volleyball and football games, a Fall Fest and more. We will (once again) be more than ready for the upcoming 3 day weekend before returning for an infamous short week. By then, we can eagerly and eerily set our sights on Thanksgiving break. We will all probably begin to move into the phase of.... where in the heck did the semester go!! Yes, we are well into working the work of Qtr. 2 and I admonish you to refocus your lens on your goals and aspirations for what you want to accomplish in your class, with your students. And go for it. May you have voices in your ear this week that motivate, inspire and nudge you to release your dreams vs. stifle them. I hope you are surrounded with lots of positive vibes that will encourage you to keep going and believing that you are doing GREAT things for kids. Thank you for showing up and sharing the gift of YOU with our Lion community! Let's get it!
This Got Me Fired Up and Pumped Up!

Shout out to Baylie for going above and beyond assisting teammates with RTI forms and paperwork. Sharing time and walking alongside colleagues in getting all the things done is commendable! Here's what Melissa Ford had to say, "I want to brag on Baylie Salazar. She ALWAYS has her paperwork turned in on time (early) AND she sat down with all the math advisory teachers to help them fill out the RTI forms. She wasn’t asked. She just did because she wanted to be helpful and was looking out for everyone!"
