Last Day of School - THURSDAY INFORMATION

LAST DAY Schedule At the bottom of the spreadsheet is grade levels and fine arts/athletics/electives/paras. Find your name on the duty stations and it will tell you what grade and which station you will need to be at and what time. You will follow either the 6th, 7th or 8th schedule on the first tab. This schedule should give every teacher 2 hours off. Teachers who are going with students to their next station should lead them through the hallways and to their destination.

Students will be in a specific classroom in their grade level hallway. 6th and 7th grade students have been put in alphabetical lists that are attached. Please let students know next week what room they will be in. On the schedule, students will be in their specific classroom: at the start of day, when it says summer jeopardy, and when it says escape room classroom and then at the end during 7th. They will then go back after clapout and end the day in this specific classroom. Attendance sheets will be put in your box before next Thursday. 8th grade students have a different plan that will be communicated to 8th grade team.

The summer jeopardy game is in an email I sent last Thursday. I can not attach it because It MUST stay in powerpoint. It will not work in google slides. Save it to your computer and it works beautifully like jeopardy. The escape room is also attached. You will have to click on the link and maybe do a little prep. If you do NOT want to use the escape room, that’s fine but you will have an hour with students to fill in your classroom.

Blurb to say to 6th and 7th grade students: Thursday is the last day of school. We will be doing fun rotations. You can bring a small bag with chromebook/yearbook/sunscreen and your lunch in it. Lunchroom will be doing sack lunches that day as well. We will be going outside to play games so you might need sunscreen or wear it to school.

The clapout route and duties.

An email will go out to families but feel free to email your students if you would like. The only reason they need a chromebook is if you want them to do the escape room in groups. If you do it as a whole class, they do not need them. If they did not get a yearbook, they can sign an autograph book, poster or wear a tshirt to sign. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
