I love to grow my professional skills through applying my existing strengths in a leadership capacity; this, in turn, further refines my own learning as I continually learn from my colleagues and experiences.

NISD New Hire Orientation Presenter, Northwest ISD, 2016-current

Acclimated newly hired staff, in sessions of 60-100 people, to NISD Staff Resources, educator & student devices, educator iPad, and Google Apps
Began development of educators' digital learning environments, including Moodle, Google Classroom, and Seesaw, as a means to deliver instruction and elevate learning experiences

Tools for Schools CTE Mark Perna Team, Northwest ISD, 2017-2018.

Strategic Plan for restructuring the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department in NISD by examining strategies for dynamic enrollment, retention, and performance results
Generated an organizational Rally Point to define intentions for the program to gain district stakeholders' approval and support

Professional Learning Team (PLT) Participant, Northwest ISD, 2016-2017.

Explored the Superintendent's areas of focus in order to filter our progress towards those goals
Conducted a Needs Analysis to explore existing professional development to identify areas that the district needs PD but doenst yet exist
Used the Nested Process to improve existing PD sessions and create new PD sessions.

Leaders Experiencing Advanced Development (LEAD) Participant, Northwest ISD, 2015-2016.

Completed an Action Learning Project at Tidwell Middle School focused on improving teacher-student relationships derived from the need identified within the percentage gaps shown in the data between the We Teach and We Learn Surveys
Collected formative and summative data related to the Action Research Project

Innovate, Inspire, and Influence (i3) Instructional Technology Academy Participant, Northwest ISD, 2015-2016.

Created a Professional Development Plan for activity engaging the staff in a technology-infused activity (Scavr) involving the 4 C’s: Collaborate, Communicate, Critically Think, and use Creativity
Developed a Professional e-Portfolio to showcase accomplishments and serve as an example for students in the classroom who are also creating e-Portfolios
Participated in a long-distance professional development option: a virtual meeting via Zoom

1st Year Teacher Mentor, Tidwell Middle School, 2015-2016.

Coordinated and participated in focused walk-throughs to observe openings, closings, and individual student work time

Titan Cards Committee Member, Tidwell Middle School, 2015-2016.

Created the Titan Cards system which contains earned privileges based off student’s six weeks grades, attendance, and behavior; derived from the 2015 Jostens Renaissance Conference
Collaborated with cross-curricular teachers to identify problems and solutions related to implementation of the Titan Card System

Campus Technology Liaison (CTL), Tidwell Middle School, 2014-2016.

Assisted the Instructional Technology Specialist in teacher IT training and troubleshooting

Wrote district-wide formative and summative assessments
Created “Student Progress Monitoring” documents for students to monitor their mastery of TEKS
Edited existing curriculum to streamline with available technological resources
Updated the file locations from a computer drive to the cloud-based Google Drive
Led PD sessions to train educators on improvements in delivery and instruction of curriculum

Titan Dads Coordinator, Tidwell Middle School, 2014-2016.

Created Tidwell’s parental involvement program for fathers including gaining interested participant and created and maintained of the volunteer webpage

Principal Intern, Tidwell Middle School, 2014-2015.

Completed 183 Internship Hours on Campus
Served as a STAAR Assistant Testing Coordinator through which I provided teacher security training, learned how to assemble large and small groups based on accommodations, and prepared and transitioned testing buckets for each round of testing
Filled in as the AP Administrator on Duty in which I managed student discipline, collected statements, and ensured school safety through active monitoring in halls and large school areas during the week of the crisis stemming from a student threat
Elected to participate in many campus committees including Commitment to Graduate (C2G), Advisory Committee, and Code of Conduct and Student Handbook Review Committee

Leadership Experiences for Aspiring Principals (LEAP) Participant, Northwest ISD, 2014-2015.

Studied the definition of leadership and explored various roles within Organizational Leadership

7th Grade Team Leader, Tidwell Middle School, 2014-2015.

Managed and streamlined grade-level needs including supply collection, parent conferences and communication, and student academic/behavioral needs
Led monthly meetings to collaborate with the 7^th grade teachers, counselor, and Special Education teachers to streamline teacher and student expectations

Northwest ISD Education Ambassador, 2013-2015.

Worked alongside Friends of Texas Public Schools to learn how to incorporate public relations tools in efforts to promote success with NISD public schools
Studied the leadership role of Walt Disney through a book study to gain takeaways from his success that can be applied on our individual campuses
