The delivery of any research study is a beautiful collaboration between many people and organisations, not least participants, and we're proud to play our part as an active partner in England's rich research ecosystem. Our evolution to become the NIHR Research Delivery Network has provided us with the opportunity to grow our regional team here in South West Central.
Our team members work in a range of different functions that support the research delivery system in England. Whether that be supporting research sponsors, funders and investigators to navigate and get the best of our health and care system, proactively problem-solving and collaborating with delivery organisations to keep research studies on track, or working to ensure that our research delivery infrastructure continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the nation.
We're looking for brilliant people who can effortlessly collaborate across organisations and areas of expertise, and who are enthusiastic about realising the full potential of a world-leading research delivery environment. Come and join a team that plays a part in shaping the future of health and care!

When writing your supporting statement, think about how you meet the person specification and how you can demonstrate this through your application. You have up to 1,500 words, so give enough detail for us to see why you want the role and how it lines up with your experience. Make it easy for the shortlisting panel to get a feel for you and how you meet the criteria.
We generally use a strengths-based approach across the team. We're keen to understand what you enjoy as well as what you're good at. What can you bring to the team to help us deliver our vision? What untapped strengths do you want to develop and explore further through this role?
The research delivery landscape is always evolving and changing - and we expect this of our people too. We don't expect everybody to be the finished product on day one; we're keen to understand how you might develop and grow over time, and importantly, with the work we do and what the health and care systems requires of us.
If you're new to research delivery, don't let that put you off. While some roles require more of a understanding of research delivery, in other roles, we can also benefit from colleagues who bring skills and experience from different sectors.
