17.1.1. Promote research opportunities to patients and public in line with the NHS Constitution for England (available at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-nhs-constitution-for-england/the-nhs-constitution-for-england) and the NHS Long Term Plan (available at: https://www.longtermplan.nhs.uk), including informing patients and the public about research that is being conducted within the RDN while ensuring the appropriate tailoring of communications in response to the external environment e.g. during a pandemic.
Engagement opportunities offered by the RDNCC-managed services, such as Join Dementia Research (JDR) and Be Part of Research, should be communicated and promoted to all appropriate stakeholders.
17.1.2. Ensure the whole RRDN operates in line with the brand guidelines, operational requirements, website and social media guidelines and national messaging as advised by the RDNCC.
17.1.3. Promote the acknowledgement of NIHR support in publications and press releases, in communications with local researchers and RRDN Delivery organisations in receipt of funds or support from the NIHR.
