The Primary Care team are charged with setting up and supporting all studies on the NIHR portfolio. We endeavour to provide research opportunities to our 2.4 million patients in partnership with our GP and community colleagues.

We offer advice and expertise to study teams throughout the life cycle of their studies to ensure Primary Care delivers. We assist with writing protocols and continue support through to study closure.

The team provide performance reports and monitor research activity across the area. We work with and supply local intelligence to both academic and commercial partners to ensure the research we do has the greatest impact on to those who need it most.
