The Lead RRDN for a portfolio study will work with the study's chief investigator to discuss recruitment needs and develop a Health Informatic as early in the process as possible; preferably with ring fenced study team funding. The RRDN agrees with the study team how the Health Informatic will be shared locally. They also agree that this can be shared nationally with other RRDNs and GP sites via RRDN sharing platforms, the national PRIDES website and GP System Supplier sharing platforms. This process can be used for commercial studies by agreement. Visit your local RRDN's PRIDES website to find out what support they offer. In cases where RRDNs have been formed by the recent merger of former LCRNs, there may be two sites hosting the HI developments produced by the respective historical LCRN.
