Unofficial Transcript

If you are taking a course for high shool credit, you will need to show your high school counselor your unofficial transcript.

Official Transcript

A student might need to request an official transcript from Ohlone College for several reasons, including:

  • Transferring to Another College or University: When transferring to another institution, official transcripts are often required to verify completed coursework and credits earned.

  • Employment: Some employers request official transcripts to verify educational qualifications and academic achievements.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid: Scholarship committees and financial aid offices may require official transcripts to confirm academic standing and eligibility.

  • Personal Records: For personal record-keeping or to ensure all academic records are up-to-date and accurate.

Each of these scenarios requires an official transcript as it is a verified document provided by the college that includes the college seal, the signature of the registrar, and other security features to ensure its authenticity.
