Learning Communities

A learning community is an educational approach that groups students together to take a set of courses or participate in activities around a common theme, interest, or academic goal. These communities are designed to foster a sense of belonging, collaboration, and mutual support among students. By participating in a learning community, students benefit from closer connections with their peers and instructors, integrated curriculum, and enhanced engagement in their academic pursuits. Learning communities often emphasize interdisciplinary learning, experiential activities, and a supportive environment that encourages both personal and academic growth.
