CAC: Community Advisory Committee
The Community Advisory Committee is designed to be a dynamic collaborative partnership of educators, parents, and community members to promote the education of children with special needs. The CAC sponsors events to highlight services available within the Tri-City community, to provide resources for families with children with special needs and to increase disability awareness. We welcome your participation and input into the special education process for all children with special needs.

New Haven Schools Foundation
New Haven Schools Foundation website
The New Haven Schools Foundation provides financial support in the school district in primarily two ways. First, we provide funding for innovative classroom programs and student activities through our teacher grant program. Second, we manage a community-based scholarship program for seniors graduating from all four of our secondary school programs. Our aim is to make significant contributions that serve the interest of the students of New Haven Unified School District.
PASE: Pilipinx-American Society for Education
The mission of PASE is to act as a liaison between the Filipinx community, its students and the New Haven Unified School District, thereby promoting success among the Filipinx population of students throughout the district. Through utilization of community agencies and other available resources, PASE will meet the various needs of Filipinx students. Such services will include the promotion of cultural awareness, an enriched curriculum, parental involvement, healthy lifestyles, and higher education. PASE will strive to increase the visibility of role models, address Filipinx issues, and empower Filipinx students physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Our PTC has helped with distribution, our Trunk or Treat event, and is hoping to continue to support other school wide spirit events.
The first PTC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept 2nd at 5:00pm. After this initial meeting, all PTC meetings will be held every second Wednesday of the month at 5:00pm via Zoom.

Parents do not need to attend meetings and can just be added to our email distribution list to be kept in the loop on events around campus and volunteer opportunities. We do also solicit feedback from the parents on this distribution list, so a good way to give input without attending meetings.
