Welcome to coding!

In this class, we will learn to use a variety of computer languages using Computer Science Discoveries lessons on Code.org. Sixth graders learn HTML and CSS. Seventh graders will learn block-form JavaScript to create animations. The CSD curriculum has been created with students in mind. It is a closed system, designed for schools. The program has three sections- Web Lab, Game Lab, and App Lab. 

Whether or not students will choose a career in coding or the tech industry, coding teaches students valuable skills that will make them college and career-ready.
